Counseling

The Counseling Center provides free, confidential counseling for students regarding any concern, no matter how big or small, which may affect a student’s ability to function in the college environment and deal with its demands. Such concerns may be personal, social, academic, psychological, emotional, or religious in nature.

The Counseling Center is supervised by a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Most counseling is provided on an individual basis, but experienced counselors also meet with couples and groups who have commonly shared concerns.

Additionally, the Counseling Center maintains connections with a variety of area resources including AA, ACOA, and NA meetings; self-help groups; women’s health centers, and other referrals as needed.

The Counseling Center is located in the basement of Sieker Hall.
